I would like to begin by saying that it was an honor to have served the organization as President this past year and I am looking forward to yet another as your President. With the help of the membership committee, I’m setting my sites high on increasing membership and attendance at meetings this year.
I know SPGNY has some really good photographers; it would be nice to see what other members are doing. Please make an effort to compete in the print competitions this year. The images don’t have to be from weddings and portrait sessions, they can be landscapes or digital manipulations. Let’s improve our photography and support the organization by entering. We are always working hard at improving SPGNY. We would like to hear from you. If you have any ideas on how to grow our organization please let us know. Remember, the more members we have, the more money we have to get quality speakers! I also want to make sure that you are all aware that State is giving members a discount of $80.00 if you bring in a new member. That is a significant savings. I’m looking forward to seeing you at the next meeting!
